About Dr. Willie Weaver

Dr. Willie W. Weaver was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 9, 1944. He spent his formative years in Louisiana, accepted the Lord as his personal Savior when he was nine years old, and surrendered to preach when he was thirteen. He married Carolyn Fitzpatrick on June 9, 1963. They now reside in Burleson, Texas. God has blessed Dr. and Mrs. Weaver with two children and seven grandchildren.

In 1997 Dr. Weaver was called to be pastor at Worth Baptist Church. His first Sunday was April 6, 1997, when Dr. Raymond Barber passed the torch of leadership to him. He pastored Worth until the last Sunday of December, 2015. Under his leadership Worth annually supported over 150 missionaries and gave millions of dollars to world evangelism.

When he is not out of town preaching in mission conferences and revival meetings, Dr. Weaver teaches the Auditorium Sunday School class.
