About Althea

Althea Bedard was raised in a Christian home and trusted Christ as her Savior at a young age.  In 1979, she met her future husband, Kevin Hymer, whom she led to the Lord.

Pastor Kevin and Althea have served the Lord together as far away as the White Mountains of New Hampshire to here in the Lone Star State of Texas.  In addition to teaching the Ladies’ Bible Study, Althea plays the piano during church services, teaches the children’s Sunday School class, and serves in various other capacities at the church.

The Hymers currently live in Benbrook and have four married children and six grandchildren.
