A Time of Transition at Regency

Sunday, June 24, 2018 was a special day at Regency Baptist Church.  In addition to celebrating Regency's 34th anniversary, it was a day in which the church honored Pastor Bob Wallace for his 54 years of faithful service in the ministry.  This service also served as a "passing of the baton" between Pastor Wallace and Pastor Bryan Kaffenbarger, who will become Regency's senior pastor effective July 1, 2018.  He is the third senior pastor in the church's history after Pastor Jonathan Stewart, who founded and led the church from June 1984 to July 1996, and Pastor Wallace, who has been Regency's pastor since July 1997.

Although Pastor Wallace is retiring from full-time ministry, he will still be involved at Regency as an associate pastor serving in various areas as the Lord gives him strength.  He will also provide godly counsel to Pastor Bryan as he begins his ministry as a full-time pastor.  We are excited to see how the Lord will use Pastor Bryan to further the ministry of Regency in reaching our community and reaching the world through our missions program.
